We're often told that our bunk bed dormitory is one of the best in Fiji. Our dorm is equipped with bunk beds a quality pillow, mosquito net and is fully air-conditioned, a rare thing to find in the Yasawas. Dorm beds are supplied with fresh clean linen, towels and a beach towel on a daily basis.

General Room Facilities

All of the Bures have fans, and private open sky showers wardrobe, and a room safe. Beachfront category and up have Air Conditioning, a balcony, complimentary mini bar stocked once on arrival, wifi, TV, and Movies.

Directions to Property

Octopus Resort is located 27 nautical miles from the Fijian mainland, on Waya Island, the largest of the islands in the Yasawa island group. The primary method of transfer is the resorts own transfer vessel Aftershock, it makes a return trip to the island every day $85 USD per Adult and $55 USD per child 5 - 12 years of age. The boat leaves Naisoso Marina (a few miles from the Airport in Nadi) at 9 am ( transit time is approx 1 hour) and then departs the island to make the return trip back to the mainland from Octopus at approx 10.30 am. The journeys take just over one hour each way and are scheduled to meet many of the flights serving Nadi Airport, allowing the maximum time possible on the island. Air-conditioned minibus transport from the airport or from local hotels is included in the transfer cost. We ask you to consider airport delays and customs clearance when considering your transfer options. We also offer boat charter service for guests that have more complex flight connections starting from $999 USD for up to 20 pax. There is also a pm connection available from our sister resort Paradise Cove Resort departing the mainland at 3-3.30pm and departing the resort again at 4.30 - 4.45pm reaching the mainland by 5.45-6pm.

CHILD POLICY: 0-4 yrs meals, accommodation free of charge - please note boat transfer, seaplane and helicopter transfers will incur charges. 5-12 yrs - Child rates apply 13+ yrs considered adults Should disruption of travel due to border closures/quarantine occur prior to arrival bookings are held in credit for 12 months on a rebooking status, This will allow you to rebook your stay with no additional cancellation or amendment fees, accommodation, transfers and meals may be subject to rate increases. Refer to below cancellation policy should you wish to cancel. If no selection is made you authorize our reservations team to add them to your booking based on the number of guests and nights booked.
